Science City to organise National Pollution Control Day on December 3

Kapurthala, December 2, 2014: Science City, Kapurthala is organising National Pollution Control Day on December 3 in collaboration with Punjab Pollution Control Board to commemorate Bhopal Gas Tragedy, the greatest Industrial Pollution Tragedy in the history of the World bringing into sharp focus the need to adopt preventive measures to avoid such disasters in the future.
According to available information, this one day celebration in the Science City will give students an opportunity to participate in  Science Project Model Display, Caption writing and Painting  competition.  
Dr. S.S Ladhar. Additional Director, Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, Chandigarh will deliver a motivational lecture on Pollution Control at 12 pm.
Charnjit Singh, Joint Director, Punjab Pollution Control Board  Patiala will preside over the function.
