School of Physical Education wins Kabaddi tournament at CTU

Ludhiana, February 22, 2018: CT University, Ludhiana organised an inter-school Kabaddi Tournament at its campus. In this, six schools of University namely School of management studies, School of natural sciences, School of pharmaceutical allied medical sciences, School of hotel management, airlines and tourism, School of Education and Physical Education and School of Design and Innovation participated.

Out of these, School of Education and Physical Education and School of Design and Innovation reached into finals and School of Education and Physical Education lifted the trophy. The event was inaugurated by CT University’s Chancellor S. Charanjeet Singh Channi and closing ceremony was done by Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti along with Registrar Dr. Jagtar Singh Dhiman.

Dr Praveen Kumar, HOD, Physical Education said, “CT University is a platform for youth to bring out their talent and love for sports. All the games are good for them and we will be promoting every game. I congratulate the winners for the win.”

On the occasion, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti Pro VC said, “Kabbadi is the National Sports of Punjab. This game must reach the youth of Punjab and students are the best source for that. CTU will always promote this game and let the youth participate equally.”
