SCAM: Duplicate lottery sale scandal detected, 20 booked

Ferozepur, January 7, 2013:  The Guruharsahai police have busted a gang of duping innocent persons who were allegedly running Casino like shops at different places in Gurharsahai city near Ferozepur and selling the duplicate Punjab Government approved lotteries by issuing the hand written slips by writing a different number to the simple minded people.

The police have recovered 21 computers and Rs.32,465 from the accused.  DSP Harpal Singh Sekhon stated that three teams of police officials were constituted and 20 accused in this case were arrested on the spot who have been identified as Rajesh Puggal, Dil, Sona, Ajay Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Vipan Kuar, Raj Kumar, Mohint, Surinder Kumar, Manpreet, Sonu, Hardeep, Rajinder Kumar, Harjinder Singh, Raj Kumar, Rajneesh Kumar, Deep, Kuldeep Kumar, Amandeep, Sajan and Balbir Singh. 

The police after registration of a case have started further proceedings in this case.
