Ludhiana, April 14, 2016: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt Amarinder Singh today mourned the death of Mahatama Satyanand Munjal who breathed his last today at the age of 99.
In a condolence message, Capt Amarinder said, Mahtama Satyanand was a perfect and exemplary blend of spiritual and worldly life.
"He was a saint and a worldly man at the same time and a perfect practitioner of the Karamayoga", the former Chief Minister said in his tributes to the late Mahatama Munjal.
"People like Mahatama Munjal are not only an example but an inspiration for the modern generation that one can remain rooted in his culture, stick to morals and ethics and can still be a successful entrepreneur", he observed, while pointing out that Mahatama Munjal was the co-founder of the Hero Cycles, largest cycle manufacturers in the world.
