Satluj Public School’s 43rd annual prize distribution function concludes
Panchkula, December 1, 2019: Honoring and appreciating the achievers with accolades, Annual Prize Distribution Function for Day 3 was held with great zeal and enthusiasm in Satluj Public School, Sector-2. A galaxy of dignitaries graced the occasion as guests of honour. Pankaj Sharma, Cluster Programming head at Red FM and Margaret Singh Punj An educationist, author and a motivational speaker presided as the guests. The program commenced with a devotional Call -“Cherish the Imperishable” to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. It was followed by a tribute to our Founder Chairman S.Pritam Singh Serai. Students portrayed hoe to overcome fear in their live by an engrossing act Rising from Captivity. The Mystic Journey of Lord Rama depicting that courage is not the absence of fear but the triumph over it was presented by scholars of grade IV through the act Ramayana The Epic. Scholars of grade III showcased that hardwork and courage are the keys to success by their musical drama- Robinson Crusoe An Epic Unveiled. The act depicted by Grade –IV on Freedom- But Anguished was really an eye opener. The scholars showcased the importance of how to make our mother earth plastic free. Students of grade IV scholars enthralled the audience by the spectacular performance on Jumanji The Incredible Journey. Over 500 meritorious students who excelled in curricular and co-curricular fields were also awarded with trophies and certificates. Director Principal Gur K. Serai, mentioned that such celebrations provide a real life learning platform to the students as they are involved in it right from planning to execution, which makes them responsible and confident. He also urged the students to hone their talents and potentials to not only carve a niche for themselves or bring laurels to school but also aim to bring glory to their nation.
