Sahodaya Punjabi Skit Competition

Jalandhar, November 9, 2016: Under the noble guidance of chairman Sir, S.Gurbachan Singh, CEO Mrs. Monica Mandotra and Madam Principal Mrs. Divya Chawla, students of DIPS Tanda participated in ‘Sahodaya Punjabi Skit Competition’ held at Apeejay School , Rama Mandi Jalandhar. In total 43 schools participated in the competition. Leaving behind all the other school, the students of DIPS Tanda brought laurels to the school by winning the First Position in this competition. The participants were Kanwarjot Singh (IX), Navjot Kaur (X), Gurleen Kaur (X), Pawanpreet Kaur (X), Tanvi (IX) and Simranjot (IX).
The students threw light on the social evils such as Corruption, female feticide, dowry system etc and cs the increasing rate of such social evils in our society. Madam Principal Mrs. Divya Chawla, awarding the trophy and medals to the students congratulated them and appreciated their efforts. Telling the importance of such competitons for the students, she also encouraged the students to participate in such competitions in their future also.
