Sachin Tendulkar in Dharamshala to meet son and other cricketers

Will meet Dalai Lama

Dharamshala, May 1, 2018: Bharat Ratna, the master blaster, who also known as the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar has arrived in Dharamshala for a 4 days personal and cricketing outing. He is accompanied by his wife.

According to Mohit Sood, the Media In-charge of the HPCA, Tendulkar will be staying in the Hotel Pavilion of HPCA and day one i.e today is at Tendullker’s disposal.

“On Wednesday May 2, Sachin will interact with the Indian Under 19 players, who are attending a National Cricket Academy camp of BCCI, which started on April 18 and would end at May 18. Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary cricketer Sachin

Tendulkar, is also attending it along with 25 other under-19 players. The time of Sachin’s visit is still to be finalized,” said Mohit. He added that the camp is being held at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium here. According to reports, Sachin will lay foundation stone of cricket museum too.

The spokesperson of the HPCA, Sanjay Sharma, said, “It was a matter of pride that Dharamsala is hosting the National Cricket Academy camp, and Sachin Tendulkar is visiting Dharamshala in this connection.”

He further added that on 3rd May at 8 in the morning Sachin will have an audience with HH The Dalai Lama in Dharamshala, and visit the cricket players in the HPCA stadium in the evening.

Sharma said that after meeting the Under 19 players again in the morning of 4th May, Sachin will fly back to Delhi from Dharamshala airport.

It is not yet clear that Sachin will meet Media or not.
