Jalandhar, December 9, 2012: Rashtriya Sawem Sewak Sangh (RSS) senior leader Mangat Rai Aggarwal who had served on different posts said that it was the right time for the organisation to utilise the services of the veteran sawem sewaks  (volunteers) who had served for more than five decades.

In an interaction, he said the veteran RSS volunteers should be taken into confidence at the time of making plans for the future. He asserted that there was a dire need to further spread ideology of the RSS among the youths.

He revealed that he joined Shaka in 1942. “I wanted to render my services voluntarily to RSS”, he said.

Replying to a question, he told that he was inspired with the ideology of RSS as the vision of RSS was connected to social ideology and social concepts. He believed that one could become healthy, wise and a true son of the motherland after joining RSS.

He told that the RSS volunteers even worked for the society at the time of the Partition and Emergency. He believed that the ultimate vision of RSS was to develop and prosperous the nation.

His sons Ashwani and Vinod were also present at the time of the interview.
