Rs. 35 lakh laptops stolen

Jalandhar, October. 7, 2012: The burglars looted a show room of electronics right under the nose of Bus Stand police post under Police Division No. 7 late last night. The thieves after breaking open the shutter of the show room (Laptop World) owned by Hakikat Rai entered the show room and decamped with 80 laptop sets.

On receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and started investigations.

The owner said when he arrived at the showroom after receiving information of broken shutters of the shop, he observed that 80 laptops were found missing. The cost of the stolen goods was worth about Rs. 35 lakh, he added.
