By airing an array of romantic comedies, goofy slapsticks, animated classic and even action packed fun Star Movies is ready to give a daily dose of laughter from Monday to Friday at 5pm. Here’s a line-up of all the amusing films that will certainly tinkle your funny bones this week:

1. Spy

Melissa McCarthy playing a desk bound CIA agent, Susan Cooper in Spy is the funniest. McCarthy has amused us with her hilarious moves going into the full-fledged over-the-top Melissa McCarthy mode as she takes charge as the ‘save-the-world agent’ who has to rely on every aspect of her being to get the job done. There’s a hilarious scene where she’s rebuked by her boss Elaine because she has pink eye. Towards the end of the movie Melissa shows off her physical comedy skills, she goes into. McCarthy has some of her funniest moments in these latter scenes.

2. HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS

The scientist father of a teenage girl and boy accidentally shrinks his and two other neighbourhood teens to the size of insects. Now the teens must fight diminutive dangers as the father searches for them. Ron wrecks us all with his funny tactics throughout the movie. Making his shrink machine work again with a baseball and befriending the predators of the garden, Ron sure takes us on a happy ride.

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM

Larry Daley’s (Ben Stiller)character in the film is enough to make the movie a funny one. However it’s difficult not to comment Robin Williams appearing for the last time as Theodore Roosevelt in this film. His perfect timing in comedy helped carry the franchise for three films. His dialogue “I think it’s safe to say that we’re in a bit of trouble” after seeing the triceratops charging at the group will indeed leave us giggling.

3. GULLIVERS TRAVELS

Start your laughter journey with travel writer Lemuel Gulliver’s leaky limericks as he ends up with the little people of the Lilliput island. Jack black showcases his versatility in the role of Gulliver who unexpectedly finds himself washed on shore of an island where he is seen as a giant. Witness the world from the eye of a giant from Gulliver’s perspective as he deals with the tiny citizens of Lilliput.

4. HOME
