Ferozepur, July 27, 2016: RK Bakshi (PPS) on Wednesday took over the charge of District Police Chief, Ferozepur.
Senior police officers of the district, including SP (Headquarter) Rajveer Singh, were present on the occasion.
Earlier to this, he has also been SSP at Pathankot. Besides, he has served on different posts during his service in the Punjab police so far.
While taking charge of Ferozepur SSP, Bakshi said people would be provided transparent administration following the instruction of the state government. He added that complete cooperation of people would be asked for maintaining law and order and communal harmony in the district.
Further, he categorically stated that people might call him at any time for redressal of their problem.
