Sh Rajat Gautam Chairman, Bar Council Punjab & Haryana along with Hon’ble Justice Raj Mohan Singh, Judge, Punjab & Haryana High Court presenting Rewari team the wining trophy, here today at Cricket Stadium, Sector – 16, Chandigarh.
Chandigarh, November 25, 2015: The third T-20 Lawyers Cricket Tournament organised by the Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana has been won by the District Bar Association team of Rewari. The final match was held on Wednesday at the Cricket Stadium, Sector-16 where Rewari beat Mewat team by 6 wickets.
In all 24 teams from all over the States of Punjab & Haryana, Chandigarh participated in the tournament. It was inaugurated by Hon’ble Justice Amit Rawal on 20th November. Hon’ble Justice R.N. Raina, Hon’ble Justice Ramendra Jain and B.R. Mahajan, Advocate General of Haryana, also graced the occasion in various matches.
After the final match, Hon’ble Justice Raj Mohan Singh, Judge, Punjab & Haryana High Court presented the Man of the Match trophy to Hemender from the Rewari team. Sandeep from Rewari team was adjudged the best player of the tournament. Captain of the winning team, Jai Bhagwan was given the trophy in the presence of Rajat Gautam, Chairman, Pravesh Yadav, Honorary Secretary, Amit Rana, Member, BCI, Lekh Raj Sharma, Chairman, Sports Committee, Partap Singh, Former Chairman and Lokesh Sinhal, Member, Bar Council.
