Reunion at Dr.SSBUICET, PU

Chandigarh, November 25, 2019: A reunion for the Batch of 1978, Dr.S.S.Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology Panjab University Chandigarh (SSBUICET) was organized in Boys Hostel 3 of the University. The class of 1978 revisited the Campus, 40 years after graduating and shared their experiences with the present students of the department. They expressed their gratitude for their achievements to the department, which was there learning base. Alumnus from India and abroad were present on the occasion apart from faculty of that time. The present Alumnus deliberated on the issue of renovation of the classrooms and labs of the department including the funds to be involved for the same. It is noteworthy that the Chemical Engineering Department building is the first building to be constructed in the University and holds heritage value. The meet ended on a good note with photo sessions, felicitations and nostalgia when Alumnus visited their old hostel rooms.
