Gupta, Assistant Professor, University Institute of Fashion Technology & Vocational Development(UIFT & VD), Panjab University Chandigarh research paper titled “The Living Arts: Valuing skills of Phulkari artisans of Punjab, India” was selected by association of Fashion & Textiles (FTC), UK an international forum for dissemination of research, creative practice and pedagogy surrounding fashion and textiles. The research was presented at a conference Futurescan 4: Valuing Practice, University of Bolton, United Kingdom, 23rd-24th January 2019 with an audience comprising of textile and fashion scholars, professors, curators, educators, historians, industry professionals, artists, designers etc.
