Offers Apple and Dell laptops on Rental Monthly Instalments (RMI)

Bengaluru, October 8, 2018: RentoMojo, a pioneer in fintech leasing and patron of subscription centred lifestyle, has launched laptops on its platform. Post the introduction of smartphones in August, the collection of consumer electronics has now extended to include a range of Apple and Dell laptops that customers can choose to procure on Rental Monthly Instalments (RMI), as opposed to purchasing on EMIs.

Currently on offer are Apple’s MacBook Air and MacBook Pro and Dell’s XPS and Latitude series of laptops, with RMI’s ranging from Rupees 3,473 to Rupees 7,323, with six, twelve- and eighteen-month tenures. This new option can be availed in Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Noida and Hyderabad and will expand to include, Chennai and Pune later this month.

Laptops are essential for the urban millennial and have a strong demand from professionals and students across categories. However, the higher cost of owning one has resulted in it being purchased through various financing options that levy an interest over the retail price, depending on the tenure of repayment and other factors. RentoMojo’s RMI option offers consumers the benefit of using the product for a certain period and return it to upgrade to the latest technology and yet pay significantly lesser than EMI, for the same period.

Also, most organizations that provide their employees with a laptop, limit the use of the system to certain functions for security purposes, restricting the user from exploring a host of other avenues that they may like to engage in. This leasing option from RentoMojo is the perfect solution for such limitations, including for parents, who can avail the option to meet the immediate requirement of a laptop for their wards, instead of investing heavily on a devise that goes obsolete in months.

Geetansh Bamania, Founder and CEO, RentoMojo, said, “We recently launched smart devices as a category on our platform and laptops are a natural extension to our existing portfolio of smart phones and other devices that consumers can avail through our subscription model. With this launch, we are targeting the new age millennial professionals for whom laptops are indispensable, offering them a strong value proposition and enabling them to undertake smart decisions with regard to this daily utility product.”

RentoMojo offers premium mobile phones from Apple, Samsung and Google along with household appliances, furniture and two-wheelers under their subscription model, for tenures ranging from 3 to 36 months. By creating innovative financial options in the form of RMI, and Rent2own, where customers can choose to own the products after leasing for a certain tenure, RentoMojo has made a mark for itself in the fintech lending space.
