Remembering the brave martyrs & freedom fighters of the nation, LPU celebrated 72nd Independence Day

Jalandhar: Saluting the brave martyrs and freedom fighters of the nation; celebrations of 72nd Independence Day were observed at LPU campus. On this occasion, students from 29 states of India and 70+ countries presented the heritage of rich diversity at LPU. Adding to the patriotic fervor, Classical dances, singing, poetry, slogan writing competition, NCC parade were held to spread an enchanting patriotic fervor of oneness, brotherhood, and peace at the celebration. Also, 700+ female students and faculty members participated in ‘Run-for-Freedom’ a women marathon organized to spread the message of women empowerment. Inaugurating the celebration LPU Director General Er HR Singla appealed, “Let us all take a pledge on this great day that to make our country stronger in all forms; we will continue working for the betterment of our country and countrymen-women.”
