Ludhiana, January 10, 2015: President and General Secretary of Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana, in a joint statement here today said that the regular power breakdowns are happening in Focal Point Area.
They added Ludhiana Industry is already facing lot of problems and the regular power break downs at 220 KvA Feeder which leads to blackout of Focal Point, Ludhiana for the last one month, has been further enhancing the problems to the industrial production.
They also said that it is needless to mention that Ludhiana industry is already going through very crucial time and such regular power break downs in the Industrial Area, even of one day, causes huge losses to the Industrial production. The said breakdowns do not only affect the production loss of the industry, but also create problems in industrial machinery and equipments, and thus; interrupt man power to work smoothly.
Therefore, the CICU has urged upon to Er. K D Chaudhri, Chairman, PSPCL, Anirudh Tiwari, CMD, PSTCL and Rachhpal Singh, Chief Engineer Ludhiana Zone, to take corrective and preventive measures so that continuous loss to industrial production and to the state exchequer could be prevented.
