Regional Group of Colleges celebrates Annual Function

Bathinda, March 1, 2016: Regional Group of Colleges, Behman Diwana (Bathinda) recently celebrated its Annual Function "Aagaaz -2016" at college campus. Mrs.Paramjit Kaur Gulshan, Ex-MP, Faridkot presided over the function. Earlier, Sh.R.S.Uppal, AIG, Zonal CID Bathinda inaugurated the function by lightening the lamp. Dr.J.S.Brar, Principal, Degree College welcomed the Chief Guest, Guests of Honor, Members of Management Committee, Dignitries and Students. The program started with a religious song by students.
Sh. Gurlabh Singh Sidhu, Chairman, Sh. Sukhwinder Singh, Vice –Chairman and Sh. Sukhraj Singh Sidhu, General Secretary of Baba Deep Singh Society while talking to the press informed that efforts are being made to provide the best possible education to the students and he further informed that it is proposed to start additional courses such as ITI, PGDCA and M.A. (Punjabi & History) from the next academic session. Er. Vikas Gupta, Principal, Polytechnic College presented the Annual progress report of the college.
Mrs. Gulshan, while delivering her presidential address exhorted the students not to consume any drug and help their parents in day to day activities at their homes. Dr. Narinder Singh, Director Finance, advised the students to take keen interest in their studies and do not indulge in any un-lawful activities so that they can serve their country and society in a better way. The students performed Solo Songs, Gidha, Malvai Gidha, Bhangra etc, which were highly appreciated by the audience. At the end certificates, medals and mementoes were given to the participants and meritorious students.
