Dharamshala, May 14, 2017: The Rayat Bahra University has introduced a number of new programs in collaboration with top multinational companies to increase the employment potential of the students. Dr Raj Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University said, “Among the new age programs in B Tech the courses offered include B Tech in Android Development in collaboration with Google, IoT and Java in collaboration with Oracle, Database and Analytics in collaboration with IBM and B Tech in Design and Development in collaboration with Siemens.”
He said that the university is offering so many other courses which are of high demand in placement sector and rarely available in other universities. He was in the city to find out the possibilities to set up an undergraduate school in Kangra District where students could be scrutinized for a job oriented course according to their intellectual capability.
Dr Singh said that the Rayat Bahra University continuing its endeavour to introduce new programs for the students had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Siddhivinayak Cine Arts, Mumbai and a three-year graduate degree in film making is being started from this session in addition to one-year Diploma in Direction, Video Editing, Cinematography and Story Writing. The program will be offered by the Rayat Bahra University School of Media Studies which also offers programs like Bachelors and Masters Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. This University has also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Deakin University of Australia. Under the agreement to start collaborative MBA (Health Management), M Phil and PhD programs on its campus near Chandigarh.
Dr. Singh claimed Rayat Bahr has eight campuses in India including two universities, unique Skill Development Center and five multi-disciplinary campuses in three states and two international campuses. With 65 Institutes and Schools, more than 125 programs, education from Nursery to PhD, 35000 full time students, the group boasts of its holistic and high quality education.
