Chandigarh, September 29, 2017: Irrigation and Power Minister Rana Gurjeet Singh has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Veteran Congress Leader Mr.Makhan Lal Fotedar, who passed away in Gurugram on Thursday.
In his condolence message, Rana Gurjeet Singh said that Fotedar was the ‘Chanakya’ of Indian Politics and he helped the Congress in consolidating its position in many parts of the country. “As a close associate of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Fotedar served as her political secretary from 1980 to 1984. He also served as Rajiv Gandhi’s political secretary for three years, before joining his Cabinet”, said Rana Gurjeet.
Rana Gurjeet Singh prayed to God almighty that departed soul of a great leader may rest in Heaven.
