Rajkummar Rao sports a unibrow inspired by director Mikhil Musale to give his look for Made in China a standout quality

Dinesh Vijan's next production venture Made in China has become the talk of the town and how! With the trailer and the three songs - Odhani, Sanedo and The Naari Naari Song tracking immensely with audiences, the expectation from this small time Gujarati entrepreneur's tale has sky rocketed.

The film has brought together quite the talent powerhouse lead by none other than Rajkummar Rao who essays the role of the lead protagonist Raghu Mehta. Known to go into some serious depths as part of his research to get under the skin of every character, Raj left no stone unturned this time either to get every aspect of his look right - to the very last detail.

Raj not only gained 8 kgs and sported that signature round belly but also added a unique feature to his face, a unibrow. Interestingly enough, director Mikhil Musale actually has a unibrow and that's where Raj's inspiration came from. . Raj came up with the idea of sporting a unibrow after observing it on Mikhil and how it added such a distinct quality to his face.

As Raj about it and he says, "When I saw Mikhil for the first time, his unibrow was one of his features that were most striking. Without being out there and in your face, it does create a pretty strong mental impression of someone. I am always looking to experiment with my looks for each character I play on the screen and after we decided to embark upon this film journey together, I'd made up my mind to pull inspiration from Mikhil and sport a distinct unibrow. It looked very different and I felt it gave my character an interesting touch"

With all the love the film has amassed so far, there is no doubt that Raj's gamble paid off!
