Jalandhar, February 16, 2018: A trip to Rajasthan was organized by DAV College, Jalandhar Girls Hostel. In this visit, Chief Warden Shri Hemant Kumar and Warden Smt. Ramila Verma, Prof. Sanjeeta from the Hindi Department was accompanied by 20 girls of hostels hostels. On this occasion, students visited DAV College Ajmer, Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Salasar Balaji Mandir, Jinn Mata Mandir, Khatu Shyam ji, Ajmer Fort, Jaighad Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Biological Zoo, Birla Mandir (which is Jaipur's largest temple). Apart from this, girls also enjoyed 'Camel Safari'. The girls were also taken to DAV College Ajmer. This college was built in 1942 before independence. Which holds a high position in the history of DAV.

During this visit, Chief Warden Mr. Hemant Kumar gave information to the girl students about the historical significance of these different places. He told that Rajasthan is known as India's largest tourist place. Here are the religious places of both Hindu and Muslims, which are symbols of Hindu-Muslim unity. Ajmer Sharif Dargah and the journey of various temples is a live example. Apart from this, there are many scientific sites in Rajasthan, whose iron is considered in the whole world. Jantar Mantar is a fine example. Apart from it, the Shah Mahal, Jal Mahal, Ajmer Fort, the fort of Jaigarh, etc., describes the royal chant of kings of Rajasthan.

Warden Mrs. Ramila Verma told that this trip was fully enjoyed by the girl students. All of them came to know the importance of many historic places during this trip. They will get information about India's greatness. Principal Dr. SK Arora said that such trips are very important because they give us the information that we get from books. With such visits, students get an opportunity to interact with their teachers, so this creates a strong relationship among them.
