The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Feroezpur, N.C. Goyal alongwith the Congress leaders flag off New Delhi-Ludhiana-Moga Shatabdi Express train at the Ludhiana railway station on Saturday.

Ludhiana, December 8, 2012: The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Feroezpur, N.C. Goyal alongwith the Congress leaders flagged off New Delhi-Ludhiana-Moga Shatabdi Express train at the local railway station today.

The Station Superintendent, Ravinder Sharma, Congress MLAs from Ludhiana Surinder Dawar, Rakesh Pandey and Bharat Bhushan Aashu and MLA from Moga, Joginderpal Sharma were among those present.

The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Feroezpur, N.C. Goyal said that this train has been extended to Moga on a demand of passengers in that particular area. He told that maximum passengers from the Moga area used to board in the train at the Ludhiana railway station. Now, these passengers would be able to board Shatabdi Express train at the Moga railway station.

On being asked, he told that Lakkar Bridge in the Ludhiana city would be completed and made functional by March next.
