PUTA delegation .submits memorandum to Javadekar

Chandigarh, June 2, 2017: Today on June 2, 2017, PUTA delegation lead by Prof.(Dr.) Promila Pathak,
present President PUTA, along with its 5 Past Presidents namely Professors, Dr Akshaya Kumar, Dr.Rajat Sandhir, Dr Devinder K. Singh, Dr.Ronki Ram, and Dr.Jaspal K. Kaang submitted memorandum to the Minister, Govt of India, MHRD, Shri Prakash Javadekar.
As the budget estimates for the current and the next few financial years of the Panjab University, Chandigarh have already been put for the consideration of the UGC for the onward approval of MHRD, they requested him
for the accord approval to the same and help in the release of the grant at the earliest possible. Hon,ble Minister assured them of his help and support.PUTA delegation also extended an invitation to him as Chief Guest for visiting Panjab University Campus with a view to celebrate Teachers’ Day on September
5, 2017.
