Chandigarh, November 16, 2015: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Dr Charajit Singh Atwal, during his visit to British Colombia was given warm welcome at city Abbotsford by the N.R.Is belonging to Payal Constituency.
While welcoming Dr.Atwal, Mayor of Abbotsford Mr.Moe Gill said that Payal Constituency feel proud to elect Dr. Atwal and now he is on a very high seat of speaker. We are very greatful to speaker Saab to be with us today.
Dr. Atwal while addressing the gathering said that with the best wishes and co-operation of the residents of Payal Constituency, he is able to bring the remarkable achievements. This is the first time that Payal Halka is on the way to Development. He said recently Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal laid down the foundation stone in the name of Baba Maharaj Singh Rabo Uchhi Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Maloud. Long pending demand of Payal, Judicial Complex at Payal already doing service for the area. Dr. Atwal said by declaring Maloud a New Block by the Punjab Govt. is an historical achievement. He said other projects for the development of Payal Constituency are under process. On this occasion S. Gurbachan Singh Duburji and Gurdeep Singh Jajh also shared their views with the gatherings and thanked the guests. Dr. Atwal was honoured by the NRIs with a siropa.
