Punjab/Ferozepur News- 22 smugglers ring busted in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, October 4, 2013: The Ferozepur police have busted a ring of 22 smugglers, as per crime report released by SSP, alleged to be involved in smuggling of gold, heroin, fake Indian currency, opium and arms apart from passing of secret information to ISI in Pakistan.
Giving this information, Vibhore Kumar Sharma, DSP (HQ) informed that Harbhajan Singh, SI got the secret information that a group of 22 smugglers have contacts with smugglers in Pakistan and doing the smuggling of heroin, gold, fake Indian currency, opium and arms.
Those booked in the case registered under various sections of 18/21/25 NDPS Act, 3 OS Act, 135 Custom Act 1962, 25/54/59 Arms Act and 489-A,B,C IPC at Sadar Police Station are Succha Singh, Satnam Singh, Moura Singh of Palla Megha, Bakshish Singh of Basti Ram Lal, Ajaib Singh, Mehal Singh of  Aku Wala, Bikramjit Singh, Balbir Singh, Sarwan Singh of Arifke, Balkar Singh of Kilche, Sukhdev Singh, Ram Singh, Chanan Singh of Gulami Wala, Nishan Singh of Aansal, Karinal Singh of Baghel Singh Wala,  Gurjan Singh, Jarnail Singh, Gurbhej Singh of Machhiwara, Mukhtiar Singh of Basti Peer Berian, Jaj Kumar of Ferozepur, Sat Pal of and Shinda of Basti Bhatian Wali, Ferozepur City.
DSP informed that the gang of smugglers has been alleged for smuggling drugs from Pakistan and passing on secret information to ISI in Pakistan.  The further proceedings in this case have been initiated and no arrest has so far been made.
