Punjab Yatra Boot Camp organized at PCTE Group of Institutes
Ludhiana, January 29, 2019:” Punjab Yatra” Boot Camp was organized at PCTE Group of Institutes to Foster & Sensitize Entrepreneurship among Students. The event was organized to teach students how to write & pitch a business plan & how to take a hard look at the financial needs & prospects. Around 250 students from different colleges and Schools namely CT Group of Institutes, Punjab Agricultural University, Gulzar Group of Institutes, Guru Nanak Dev College, Khalsa College for Women, DCM Presidency School etc. gathered to be a part of the event.
The occasion was graced by the presence of some eminent speakers including the Chief Guest Mr. Vishal Vinayak from Nano Tech Chemical Brothers Pvt. Ltd, who motivated the students and also shared his journey and experience on how he started his own business. Mr. Amit Sharma from SingEx Singapore based company discussed about the entire process of a start up from idea generation till idea commercialization. Ms. Baljeet Kaur from Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development discussed about the Stand Up India Scheme, Mr. Ashish and Mr. Salil from Startup Cell Punjab informed the students about the government startup initiatives. Mr. Rekhi, Funtional Manager from District Industries Center Ludhiana detailed regarding importance of Udyog Aadhar & role of DIC towards budding Entrepreneurs, Mr. Jatley, Assistant General Manager from State Bank of India apprised regarding various schemes related to startups. After the session students pitched their ideas.
Dr. Gautum Bansal, Director & Prof Naresh Sachdev in charge Ecell, PCTE Group of Institutes said that the entire event was immensely informative for the students, the students came up with very interesting and innovative ideas. Dr. Gautum Bansal said that such kind of event provide a great platform for the students to showcase their talent in providing solutions to the social and business problems.
Dr. KNS Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes said that the event was successfully conducted and further added by saying that initiatives like these help the students to think out of the box which motivate them to use their creativity and innovativeness.
