Punjab Women Hockey League match results

Ludhiana, September 22, 2012: It was a cliff hanger between Patiala and Bathinda in a Punjab Women Hockey League match in progress at Prithipal Singh Memorial Hockey Stadium, Punjab Agriculture University, here today in which both teams were nil at the end of the match as both teams attacked and countered well and displayed good stick work.

Patiala got an edge when both teams were given penalty shoots as Sandeep Kaur’s scooped for the winner team.

Patiala won Bathinda 2-1 and jumped in the Semi Finals in above – 15 age group in group – c.

In Under – 15, Girls Mukatsar crashed out Host Ludhiana by 6-0 goals. Girls from the host side could not stopped their rivals even at single instance. Jasleen Kaur scored 3 goals for the winners and the other scorer from the winning side were Pawandeep Kaur, Lovepreet Kaur and Manpreet Kaur who scored one goal each.
