PUNJAB TO PROVIDE FREE TRAINING TO YOUTH FOR RECRUITMENT TO 55000 POSTS IN CENTRAL SECURITY FORCES

Ludhiana, September 4, 2018: The Employment Generation Department, Punjab, under the leadership of the Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh has decided to go in for providing free training to the youth of State for recruitment to the 55000 posts/vacancies of Constables in various Central Security Forces. The Staff Selection Board of the Union Government is about to make recruitments to the different paramilitary forces such as BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, NIA, SSF and Assam Rifles and the total number of vacancies are 54,953. The aspirants can apply online till September 17, 2018.

Disclosing this, Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Mr Pardeep Kumar Agrawal said that training centres have been set up at 25 places in order to prepare the youth of State for both the written as well as the physical fitness examination.

The centres have been established at Ludhiana, Khanna, Jagraon, Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Tarn Taran, Batala, Ferozepur, Moga, Faridkot, Fazilka, Bathinda, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Mansa, Patiala, Sangrur, Barnala, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala (Police Lines), PAP Headquarters Jalandhar, Rupnagar, SBS Nagar, SAS Nagar and Fatehgarh Sahib.

Mr Agrawal further said that the interested youth should report on 5th & 6th September, 2018 till 11 AM at the above mentioned nearest police centre for physical examination. He also said that those male and female belonging to Punjab who are interested in applying for the recruitment tests, would be given training during the September month regarding clearing physical fitness examination.

Divulging more, Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana, Mr Pardeep Kumar Agrawal also said that after the physical training camp, the male and female aspirants would be trained for 2 months duration pertaining to the written exam and training would be given to the 10000-15000 candidates with the aid of C-PYTE during October-November for 15 sessions bifurcated into morning & evening batches.
