Punjab Police Officers And Officials Donate 205 Units Of Blood

Chandigarh, April 8, 2016: Senior Police officers and officials of Punjab Police today made a significant contribution of 205 units of blood during a blood donation camp organised here in the premises of Punjab Police Headquarters. This camp was organized by Welfare and Intelligence Wings of Punjab Police under the guidance of Sh.Suresh Arora, DGP, Punjab and with the help of department of Transfusion Medicines, PGMIER, Chandigarh and State Blood Transfusion Council U.T. Chandigarh.
It may be worth mentioning here that more than 350 people enthusiatically offered to donate blood and 205 units of blood were collected. On this occasion eight senior police officers namely Sh.Anil Kumar Sharma, IPS DGP Intelligence, Sh.Dinkar Gupta, IPS ADGP, Administration, Sh.V.K. Bhawra, IPS ADGP/IT & T, Sh.Guarav Yadav, IPS IGP/Headquarters, Sh.P. K. Sinha, IPS IGP/Intelligence, Smt.Anita Punj, IPS IGP/Personnel, Sh.Parmod Ban, IGP/Intelligence, Sh.Iqbal Singh, IPS AIG/Special Cell Punjab and 197 other officials donated blood for the noble cause.
