Chandigarh, December 11, 2013: The Madhopur Beas link canal would remain close up till January 15, 2014 for construction of bridge at RD 44640.
Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the Irrigation Department said that notification in this regard under rule 63 of rules framed under the Northern India Canal and Drainage Act, 1873 (Act VIII of 1873) has been issued.
