Punjab News/Dr Ambedkar gave voice to deprived-Prof. Gill

Talwandi Sabo, December 6, 2013: Punjabi poet Gurcharn Badhan said while addressing on the Pre Nirvan Diwas that Dr. B.R Ambedkar did a lot for the women empowerment for supporting in the legislative workout. It is utmost important for every Indian to remember Dr. Ambedkar for spreading light of awareness among the neglected people.
While addressing the students of Punjabi Department, Badhan said about himself that he also learned a lot from the teachings of Dr. B.R Ambedkar. Badhan shared with the students from his books ‘Lodhe Wele’, ‘Geetan Nal Preetan’, Aabaad Rahe Gulshan’, ‘Adhmoyian Sadran’, ‘Tirakde Risthe’ and ‘Chupp di Ibaadat’.
Prof Gurbhajan Singh Gill, Director (Planning & Development) Guru Kashi University shared that Baba Sahib B.R Ambedkar was the voice of the deprived & neglected people and on the footsteps of Dr. Ambedkar, equal opportunities should be provided to everyone without considering caste and creed.
