Chandigarh, September 22, 2014: During its anti corruption the vigilance bureau today received a major breakthrough when a function manager of District Industrial Centre (DIC) was nabbed red handed while receiving bribe of Rs. 5000.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Ranjodh Singh, Functional Manager DIC, Moga was caught on the complaint of Major Singh of village Kella, District Moga. The complainant has alleged that the Manger was demanding bribe of Rs. 10,000 from him for not paying the royalty in a mining activity done by him. He accused that the first installment of the bribe to the tune of Rs. 5000 was already paid to him and the second installment was to be paid today.
On the tip off, a trap was laid by the team of vigilance Bureau headed by DSP, Surinder Kumar and the accused was caught red handed while receiving the bribe.
