Talwandi Sabo, October 10, 2013: Recently certain news items have appeared in the press that Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo is offering some unauthorised courses which is not a factual information.
It is clarified that Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo is established vide Govt. of Punjab Act No. 37 of 2011. The University is only offering courses authorised as per Punjab Govt. Act mentioned above, said an official release issued by the University.
It is also clarified that the courses such as BP.Ed., MP.Ed., & M.Ed., which require additional approval from statutory body i.e. NCTE (National Council for Teachers Education) are not being offered by this University. This is for the information of all concerned.
