“Participation of the 70 students made this workshop a great success,” said Dr. Vijay Laxmi, Dean Computer Applications College. She further stated that this workshop gave practical exposure of Network Configuration, which is the need of the Industry in today’s scenario.
Talwandi Sabo, October 11, 2014: University College of Computer Applications of Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo organised a Workshop on Computer Networks. Representative from DUCAT Mr. Sanjay Yadav and Rakesh delivered the lecture to the BCA & MCA students. The main aim of the workshop is to provide platform to the students to learn advanced Computer Network techniques like Switching, rating, VLAN configuration, Trunks and basic TCP/IP, OSI Models and the latest concepts in Networking.
“Participation of the 70 students made this workshop a great success,” said Dr. Vijay Laxmi, Dean Computer Applications College. She further stated that this workshop gave practical exposure of Network Configuration, which is the need of the Industry in today’s scenario.
Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor of GKU congratulated Dean Dr. Vijay Laxmi and organisers for this practical know how to the students. Such events are highly required to raise the level of practical aspects and to develop technical attitude & aptitude among the students.
Sukhraj Singh Sidhu, Managing Director stated while lauding the efforts of University College of Computer Applications that along with to elevate the level of practical knowledge of the students this will also help to provide trained skilled professionals to the Industry.
