PUNJAB GOVT EXTENDS BHAGAT PURAN SINGH SEHAT BIMA YOJANA

Ludhiana, November 27, 2017: Deputy Commissioner Mr.Pardeep Kumar Agrawal informed that the State Government has extended the policy period of Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Bima Yojna further till 31.03.2018. The same old cards will be valid for availing of the benefits during this extended period. All the benefits i.e cashless medical treatment up to Rs.50000 per family, Accident Death of Disability cover of Rs.5.00 Lakh per Head of Family and Fire claim of Rs.5.00 lakh to the enrolled traders will be extended afresh for the extended period i.e till 31st March, 2018.
He said that the scheme would remain operational up to 31.03.2018, Scheme related information is available at BPSSBY.com. The hospitals as well as card holder beneficiaries can also check their status on this site by putting in their password, which is their card number. Besides this, the beneficiaries can call at toll free Helpline 104 also for more information and help.
