PUNJAB GOVT. Direction: To Principal Secretaries and Secretaries

Chandigarh, November 20, 2012: Punjab Government has directed all its Principal Secretaries and Secretaries not to transfer/posting Superintendent Grade-1/Officers at their own level.

Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the General Administration, Punjab said that it was noticed that transfers/postings of Superintendent Grade-1/Officers by various departments were being made   at their own level without informing the Secretariat Administration.

He said that only Secretariat Administration has the transfer/posting authority of Superintendent Grade-1/Officers.

Further, he said that if any department transfers their officers at their level, Secretariat Administration would reject the same.
