Punjab Government gives in-principle approval to key projects for Ludhiana

RAIKOT/LUDHIANA, JUNE 29, 2019: With an aim to give a boost to the infrastructural development in Ludhiana, Punjab Government has given its in-principle approval to various infrastructural projects.
The projects include Proposed Cycle Valley, important roads in District Ludhiana which fall in the Fatehgarh Sahib Parliamentary Constituency. The projects worth Rs 22.70 crores will not only develop the district but will also provide employment to the people and will ease traffic.
MP Fatehgarh Sahib Dr Amar Singh has played an important role in these projects.
Divulging more details, MP Dr Amar Singh said that Rs 5.50 crore for cycle valley in Dhnansu, Rs 9 crore for Chava-Samrala road, Rs 8.20 crore for Raikot-Malerkotla road.
He said that these projects will provide permanent solutions to the people including jobs, widened roads.Besides, the state government has also been carrying out the repair of 95.94 KM Link roads in assembly constituency Raikot at the cost of Rs 1134.40 lakh, he added.
He said that Punjab Government is committed for the overall development of Parliamentary Constituency Fatehgarh Sahib.
