Step taken to enable workers to vote in Dhuri bye-election
Chandigarh, April 9, 2015: The Punjab Government has declared 11th April, 2015 a paid holiday in all the shops , commercial establishments situated within the said constituency and factories within the jurisdiction of District Sangrur as a paid holiday.
According to an official spokesperson, this step has been taken by the Government to enable the workers to vote in Dhuri bye-election.
