Punjab extends date to pay property tax to September 30, 2014

Chandigarh, September 9, 2014: The Punjab government today announced to extend date of property tax payment without penalty or interest till September 30.
According to an official spokesperson, the Local Bodies Minister Anil Joshi had received representations from various organisations and societies in this regard. He said that after sympathetically considering their demand, Joshi has decided to extend the date for paying property tax without penalty or interest to September 30.  He said that earlier the last date was August 31, 2014 for payment of Property tax without any penalty and interest.
