Punjab education department to initiate series of district level public meetings

Chandigarh, February 13, 2015: Punjab Education Department is all set to hold district level public meeting in all 22 districts from tomorrow i.e. February 14, 2015 to resolve the grievances of general public and employees of education department.  

Disclosing this here today Education Minister Dr.Daljit Singh Cheema said that these meetings would be convened in the offices of District Education Officers (Secondary and Elementary Education) from 10 am to 2pm. He informed that instructions have been issued to DPI (Secondary Education) Balbir Singh Dhol to ensure the necessary arrangements besides personally monitoring all meetings. He said consolidated reports would be submitted with the head office by the concerned officers.

The Minister also informed that 22 observers have also been appointed for this purpose. He also asked employees, who have any grievances with the department, to meet the authorities concerned to get their issues redressed.

Meanwhile, DPI (SE) Balbir Singh Dhol informed that 22 observers have been appointed namely Shinder Singh for Amritsar, Sarbjit Singh Toor Barnala, Harbans Singh Sandhu Bathinda, Baljit Singh Brar Faridkot, Nanni Sharma Fatehgarh Sahib, Harbans Singh Ferozepur, Jaswant Singh Gurdaspur, Inderjit Singh Hoshiarpur, Harbans Kaur Jalandhar, Surinder Kaur Kapurthala, Sher Singh Ludhiana, Raghubir Singh Mansa, Bhagwant Singh Moga, Narinder Kaur Muktsar, Amrish Kumar SBS Nagar, Kulbhushan Patiala, Jaswinder Singh Nayyar Ropar, Tota Singh Sangrur, Sneh Lata SAS Nagar, Baljinder Singh Tarn Taran, Jagtar Singh Kulrian Pathankot and Jyoti Chawla Fazilka.
