Chandigarh, June 23, 2016: The Punjab Government has decided for lumpsum waiver of 50 percent non-construction fees, keeping in view demands from public, being levied owing to the delay in construction on the assets sold by the improvement trusts thereby giving another chance of construction.
Disclosing this here today, Local Bodies Minister, Punjab, Mr.Anil Joshi said that those desirous of availing the benefit of the said decision, should deposit requisite 50 percent amount of non-construction fees to the concerned competent authority for the purpose of getting map of related asset approved till 30th September, 2016. He also said that those not availing the special offer would be proceeded against as per law.
The Minister further said that all Executive Officers of the Improvement Trusts have been directed to complete the work of calculating non-construction fees within one week and intimate the concerned owners.
