Punjab Breaking News: GKU signs MoU with Country Inn & Suites

Talwandi Sabo, December 5, 2014: Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo and Hotel Country Inn & Suites, Bathinda signed an M.o.U to impart quality education to the students of Hotel Management of Guru Kashi University who require six month training after 3rd semester.

Gaurav Khurana (Asst Prof H.M at GKU) stated that this M.o.U will minimise the gap between the Industry & Education. He also added that during the training the hotel will provide Stipend to the students in order to make them fully conversant with sharpening the skill in presentation, Front desk, Pantry and all professional qualities.

Dr. Amandeep Singh, Dean Management College said that this arrangement will help the students in their placements worldwide as the Country Inn and suites have chain of five star hotels across the world.

General Manager of the Hotel J.S. Hundal said that students will also be provided soft skill classes and meals by them.

Dr. N.S.Malhi, Vice Chancellor, GKU congratulated the Management College for this memorandum and also assured that University will produce brilliant students who will be professionally polished at the hotel to meet corporate requirements of the industry.
