Punjab announces result of Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test

Chandigarh, October 21, 2014: Punjab Government today announced the result of Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test-1. Disclosing this here today an official spokesman of the education department said that 3.59% candidates passed TET-1 while 1.88% candidates had passed TET-2 the result of which was declared earlier. Meanwhile Punjab Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema congratulated SCERT for smooth completion of the process and conduction of test.

The spokesman said that 44625 candidates appeared for TET-1 in which only ETT passed candidates were eligible. Out of 44625 candidates 1601 candidates passed the result. Pass percentage of TET-1 was 3.59%. He said that SCERT had already declared TET-2 for which eligibility of BEd candidates. It may be recalled Pass percentage of TET-2 was 1.88%. In this test 129746 candidates appeared and 2440 candidates passed the test. Both tests were conducted on august 24, 2014.
