Chandigarh, October 11, 2012: To ensure the playing of buses as per the kilometer allotted to each, Punjab Government has initiated the process of appointing new drivers.
Disclosing this here today a spokesman of PUNBUS said that for getting the services of the new drivers PUNBUS has started the process of selection of the outsourcing agencies by inviting tenders through E-Tendering for the selection. The entire process of appointing new drivers for PUNBUS buses, would be completed by next month.
The spokesman said that PUNBUS was committed to provide the quality public transport facilities to the people of the state and for this purpose it has decided to add 350 new buses in existing fleet of PUNBUS. He said that management has decided to ensure the plying of buses as per the kilometer allotted to each.
