PU Students participated in International Fest at Raipur

Chandigarh, February 26, 2019: Panjab University Folk & Tribal Dance Team participated in 12th South Asian Universities Youth Festival (12th SAUFEST) organized by Association of Indian Universities held at Pt.Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh from February 22 to 26, 2019. Dr.Nirmal Jaura, Director Youth Welfare informed that the team of Rajasthani Dance at Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana represented the Panjab University in this International Festival. The same team was adjudged first during the All India National Inter University Youth Festival held at Ranchi University, Ranchi last year. Dr Monita Dhiman Team Manager along with 15 students of Dance, Poster Making and Clay Modeling participated and show their best in this festival. She said that the students from the Universities of more than 5 countries were participated in this festival. The performance of the Panjab University students were appreciated by the audience and all the students were honored by Association of Indian Universities and Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
