PU signs MoU with USERN

Chandigarh, February 22, 2019: An MoU was signed for the first time during a GIAN programme between Panjab University and Universal Scientific Education and Research Network (USERN), here today during the valedictory function of the Five day International Gian Workshop on “Primary Immunodeficiency diseases from bench to bedside” in the Department of SAIF/CIL, Panjab University, informed Prof. S. K. Mehta, Director SAIF/CIL and local coordinator GIAN. Prof. Karamjeet Singh, Registrar, Panjab University was the chief guest for the valedictory function. He congratulated the organisers for inviting Prof. Nima Rezeai from Tehran, who is among the World top 1% scientists by the Essential Indicators of Science(ESI). A concise booklet containing all the lectures by Prof. Nima Rezeai was released. Dr. Deepak B Salunke outlined and recapitulated the 5-day workshop. Prof. Nima was overwhelmed with the warm hospitality received in Panjab University and totally relished his first visit to India. He enjoyed the cultural similarities, food and the environment here. All the participants were awarded certificates of appreciation and participation.
