PU invites online applications for admissions for various M.A. Programmes in academic session 2016-17

Chandigarh, June 17, 2016: Panjab University (PU) has invited online applications for admissions for the various M.A. Programmes in academic session 2016-17 at PU. The last date of submission of information on the website for Admission to courses M.A.-I is June 30, 2016.
The interested students can now file online application at admission website http://pgadmissions.puchd.ac.in/. The last date for submission of fee in any branch of State Bank of India using website generated challan is July 2, 2016 by 4 PM. The last date for submission of hard copy of the application form along with the requisite documents (mentioned on the application form print-out) to the Co-ordinator's office is July 5, 2016.
The admission to various courses MA courses would be through online applications. PU has 46 seats in Ancient Indian History Culture and Archaeology, 34 seats in Defence and National Security Studies, 80 Seats in Economics, 17 seats in French, 25 seats in Comparative study of Religions (Deptt. of Guru Nanak Sikh Studies), 68 seats in Hindi, 50 seats in History, 40 seats in Philosophy, 60 seats in Political Science, 68 seats in Psychology, 60 seats in Public Administration, 68 seats in Punjabi, 68 seats in Sociology, 34 seats in Urdu and 30 seats in Women’s Studies.
