Chandigarh, June 9, 2016: Panjab University, Chandigarh has invited applications for admission to M.Phil. (Guru Granth Sahib Studies) at the Department of Punjabi.
The willing students may submit their application on a plain paper in the office of the Department of Punjabi, Arts Block-1st (Floor-Ist) by July 7, 2016. The entrance test would be conducted by the Department at its own level on July 20, 2016 at 10 AM in the Department.
A candidate having master's degree in any faculty/stream with 55% marks is eligible to apply. The medium of test would be in both the languages i.e. Punjabi as well as English. The syllabi for the test would be Historical, Philosophical, Linguistic and Poetical aspects of Guru Granth Sahib Studies, and Comparative Studies of Religions.
The reservation would be as per the University norms. The applicants are advised to mention their particulars (father's/mother's name, address and contact number) in the application.
