Chandigarh, May 28, 2018: Sh.Shankar Ji Jha, Dean University Instruction, Panjab University, Chandigarh was conferred an award of recognition for outstanding contribution to Sanskrit Literature/Language by Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi at its Annual Award Ceremony held here today. He received the award from Sh.V.P.Badnore, Governor of Punjab and the Administrator of Union Territory, Chandigarh. The award consisted of a shawl, citation and award money of Rs.51,000.
